We had a wonderful stay. Because Jan greeted us personally, we could pick out a spot together for our 2 caravans. The campsite is wonderfully quiet. All the facilities were super clean. At the "windroos" we could buy some snacks and wash clothes, etc. We were allowed to bring our dogs, and they could run and play in the area to their hearts' content. We will certainly come back again. (1x 40+ and 2x 60+)

Just a quick weekend away to beautiful Drenthe. We have been camping for 30 years, but we have never experienced anything like this. What a top campsite! A quick call and owner Jan came over to find a suitable spot. Wide views or right next to the little pond. At the Windroos you can get the daily newspaper, an ice cream, a library book, and even the groceries you forgot are available here. Close to Aalden, Sleen, Westerbork, Gees, Emmen and Coevorden. In the laundry facilities there is a lovely scent and cleaning wipes everywhere, where do you see something like that. All the pitches have a fantastic view and plenty of privacy! We will definitely be back! And the flea market opposite the Welkoop is also well worth a visit. A little paradise! Top class! ***** 5 star campsite!

Everything was clean and tidy, spacious pitches and fun with the free-roaming chickens and rooster. And it's also in a gorgeous setting, so over 15 days we saw a lot from the bike.

I was alone at the campsite with the camper, but I felt very welcome with you.
I received all the help I needed to drive away safely from the slightly muddy ground after a lot of rain.

The campsite itself is already a wonderful landscape. Small and larger fields separated by at least 20 different species of fully grown trees. The beautiful grass lawn gives the campsite a soft feel. Spotlessly clean sanitary facilities, with soap and shampoo dispensers. The showers are separated all the way to the floor, so no dirty soapy water from your neighbour over your feet, and the drain is so ingeniously concealed that you initially wonder: "Where does that water go now?" The managers Tresia and Jan have understood what hospitality and service mean! A clogged drain on the pitch? Solved super quickly! Campers who would rather stand somewhere else? Solved super quickly! On top of that, they both have a fantastic sense of humour, so there is no businesslike atmosphere at all. We enjoyed our stay and will always recommend this campsite.

Sanitary facilities clean and fresh.
Very friendly campsite manager and his wife.
Easy to walk the dog from the campsite.

We are home again after a few wonderful days at your campsite in a beautiful spot.
From Monday 20-4-2015 until 25-4 we were with you.
Although Mannes had to go to the hospital for a bit, we had a very pleasant stay at your campsite. The charm radiates from it.
Dishwashing liquid, shampoo and shower foam, a lovely deck in the awning. Nice soft water. Everything beautifully clean. And the friendly welcome and hospitality from you both.
Super!! Thank you!!
P.S. A beech marten did nibble on some of our cables under the hood of our VW Golf.

We were on the road on Tuesday 2 September, travelling from Groningen to the south of the Netherlands. D.i.v. With the weather. We ended up in Nieuw Lande. Camperplaats de Bonestee. Rated 9.1, what a disaster. We didn't know how quickly we had to get away. We also don't understand why this is rated 9.1. The reception was very friendly, by the way.
We consulted the MCC guide and found a charming campsite nearby, De Boemerang. Once again we drove a bit further north, although that wasn't the intention.
The reception at this campsite was wonderful. We were given a guided tour and were immediately charmed by this campsite. We got a beautiful location by a pond.
Sanitary facilities like we had never experienced before. Not even in Scandinavia.
Our rating for this campsite... A solid 10.
If the rating were allowed to be higher, we would have given it that too.
The peace, the hospitality, the very spacious pitches and, in first place, the sanitary facilities.
As far as we're concerned, this campsite qualifies for campsite of the year.
On the other hand, that would be a shame, because then there may be no place for us next year when we are in the area again.

It was nice that we were allowed to stay here. We added an extra day.
We wish these new owners lots of success and please keep going in this way.

We had a wonderful campsite experience from July 31 to August 8, 2014, far too short, at a beautiful location in a very lovely area
and with facilities that are truly TOP (campsite named BOEMERANG). THAT NAME HAS CERTAINLY A MEANING FOR US, TOP. We will definitely come back.

Beautiful campsite in a beautiful region and lovely hosts - hopefully we'll find time to visit again to this wonderful region.
And an example of their service, even after the stay: I had lost my caravan key, and they sent it back to me without charging anything for it.
