Although we have a lot of camping experience, we found this campsite a good choice, with nice sanitary facilities (cleaned 2 times a day), a friendly welcome, and nice spacious pitches with the corresponding comfort. Beautiful surroundings, enjoying birdsong and the accompanying peace all day long. Recommended to good friends. Thank you, see you again.

The week from 12 to 19 July 2013 we stayed at your fantastic campsite. A warm welcome, a personal tour, a great spot, excellent (smart and clean) facilities. And what a surroundings! Wonderful.
You two make a great pair, running this business skillfully and with passion.
An extra bonus was of course that you, Jill, are a former pupil.
Nice to see someone doing so well.

From June 28 to July 5, 2013, we stayed in the two-person apartment of Erfgoed de Boemerang, and this stay can be summed up in one word: fantastic.

We were warmly welcomed and shown around by Jill and Aart Jan, two people who, as we found out, put a lot of time, love and energy into the campsite and the apartments.

'Our' cottage was actually even more beautiful than we had expected. Apart from the fact that it is very fresh and clean, it is also nicely and atmospherically furnished and equipped with all kinds of luxuries. A good oven/microwave, television and DVD player, two toilets (one upstairs and one downstairs) and a WiFi connection. Oh, and not to forget: a bathtub with whirlpool. Lovely to relax there for a while after a day of walking and cycling.

Because that is what we did a lot, often helped on our way by the handy route maps from the Windroos. We found that Drenthe in general, and De Boemerang in particular, is a very nice place to forget the busyness of the Randstad for a while. Chickens scratching around the house, hearing the rooster crow in the morning, friendly people in the area, beautiful forests... a place we would gladly come back to!

We are the campers of the blue T4 in the photo below. We agree with the message from Gerda and Peter. Even though the place had the name of an emergency spot, for us it was a top spot! Still, I also want to mention the toilet building. Fantastic! Come to the Boemenrang and experience it yourself!

We were allowed to stay at this campsite from 25 to 28 May 2013 with a motorhome and a Rapido caravan. The campsite is beautifully laid out. It has good, well-maintained sanitary facilities. Wooden tiles are provided to place under your caravan (or tent), which reduces the amount of dirt carried in. This is definitely a PRE! We stayed on a free pitch and had a view over the neighbouring nature. As a result, we never felt like we were on a campsite.
We had a wonderful time and are happy to recommend this campsite to anyone.

What a wonderful campsite, everything is so beautiful and clean. If you visit this campsite first on a trip, all other campsites afterwards pale in comparison. We have been to a great many campsites, but we have never seen such beautiful sanitary facilities. Super. We will most certainly come back.

Heritage De Boemerang.

Camping here feels like a blessing,
this place is truly a golden find
the pitches are spacious and beautiful
and now and then a bit of cool rain.

Two extremely friendly people,
both seasoned in care
guarantee a pleasant stay here
with an open ear for extra wishes.

A wise man once was right:
_ what we seek in the distance
lies often within arm's reach _

Back home now, the urge grows within us
to book for next year already,
we are now a boomerang ourselves.

Last week we stayed in the two-person apartment. We had a wonderful holiday. What a beautiful and peaceful surroundings. After a long walk in the woods, it was lovely to just relax in the hot tub, that is truly relaxing and a great way to unwind! We can recommend it to everyone. Thank you for your warm welcome, service and tips for nice walking and swimming spots with the dog. We will definitely come back again!

Unfortunately, he passed away on Thursday 11 August at 08:30. Even so, we wanted to mention that we had two really wonderful weeks at your campsite and we will certainly come back someday. Only one more day and then it's over. We have enjoyed the peace and the beautiful surroundings. The crowing of the rooster and the chickens scratching around with their chicks around your caravan, wonderful. Only it was a real pity that because of a guest's dog from our neighbours, they no longer dared to come to our field.
We will certainly come back to your campsite once more.

We went for a few days of rest and found exactly that here, 200 percent. The campsite is NEAT, CLEAN and SPACIOUS. The reception was extremely warm and friendly. Keep up the good work ... We will certainly come back again.

Just back from a short Ascension Day holiday at your campsite. Because of the weather, we changed our plan at the last minute from camping in a tent to staying in the 4-person apartment. And compliments! Everything was taken care of down to the last detail. We had wonderful days. Also thank you on behalf of the boys (9 and 12 years old), who thought sleeping in the box bed was great.
